On this Thanksgiving weekend, we wanted to take some time out and recognize some of our favorite charities.
- Our first segment is with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. Christopher Papouras, President of Nabors Drilling and Chairman of the Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs, and Mark Martin, a Club Director, join us in the studio to talk about the good work they do on behalf of at-risk youth.
- We talk to Lisa Estes, Chief Advancement Officer for Ronald McDonald House, about the work they do.
- We switch gears and do another in a series of segments called “Profiles in Leadership“. This week’s is Kyle Brown and Lone Star Bloom.
- In our last segment we talk to Goodwill Industries of Houston.Kym King, Vice President & Public Relations & Community Affairs, and Will Lufburrow, Director of Development and Special Projects, give us some insight into the benefits of helping people find meaningful work.
