This is the intro segment from part 2 of the TurboMachinery Show in Houston.
Please excuse any typos in this hasty transcript.
Matt Register: Welcome to Texas Business Radio. I’m your host Matt Register. Jay Curry, our normal co-host, is going to join us next week. Now, last week we were at the 46th Turbomachinery and 33rd Pumps Symposia, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. That show is brought to you by the Turbomachinery lab at Texas A&M University.
I don’t know how much you’re aware of the impact that the turbo machinery and the rotating equipment industry has on your daily life, but it has an impact whether you’re aware of it or not. Anybody that uses a light switch or turns on the faucet and their water runs, it affects your life. We’re going to have a whole bunch of very exciting guests that are in that industry to bring to you.
It is Christmas weekend, so I want to wish you all a very, very merry Christmas. We do have to go take a quick break. We’re going to jump right into it on the way back and talk to you about the rotating equipment industry. We’ll be back after this. Don’t go anywhere.
