Shannon Register is the Host of “Houston Real Estate Radio” and the Broker and Owner of Register Real Estate Advisors located in Spring, Texas. She is a Realtor that services all of Houston and the surrounding areas with a focus on Spring and The Woodlands.
Starting her career in real estate in 2008, Shannon’s non-standard approach to the market allowed her to grow quickly, even while starting in a down market. She started RREA in August of 2010 and opened the first location on Louetta Road in January of 2011. She currently has about 50 agents that specialize in different locations around the Houston area. A long time Spring resident, her expertise is focused on the subdivisions in Spring and The Woodlands, Texas.
Prior to her career in real estate she was first a loan officer at a bank in Columbus, Georgia and then became an Army Wife and then a Special Education Teacher. She was the Family Support Group leader for her husband’s Infantry Company during deployments to Uzbekistan and Afghanistan after September 11th and knows what it means to serve. After her husband later returned from his next tour in Iraq, they settled in the Houston area to start a family.
Originally from Georgia with a Bachelors Degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, she has lived in New York, Kentucky, and Texas and now resides in the Spring area. Now a mother of two, she is a working mother and full time Realtor. Her experience as a loan officer provides added perspective to the lending and underwriting process for mortgages. She will negotiate for you and lend her real estate expertise to help you meet all of your real estate needs.
Shannon holds over 10 real estate designations and certifications. Her blog has been named, “The Best Real Estate Blog in Texas” by the Real Estate Research Center at the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University. In October of 2011 she was featured in the October edition of the National Realtor Magazine and will be on the April 2011 cover of the Premier Agent Magazine. She is the 2012 VP of Membership for the Montgomery County Chapter of WCR. She holds memberships in the Montgomery County and 1960 WCR Chapters. She has been a speaker for the National Association of Realtors, Womens Counsel of Realtors and the Champions School of Real Estate.
She is very active in her community, her children’s activities and Resurrection Lutheran Church. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Women’s Council of Realtors, and Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee. She is a proud supporter of the University of Georgia Alumni Association, the Pregnancy Assistance Center North, and the Samaritans Purse Organization.
